Brendan White is a professional rugby league player, playing center second, row forward, lose forward, and prop forward. He started his career at Illingworth amateur rugby league club, where Leeds RLFC signed him as a 16-year-old. Brendan made his first team debut at 18, playing against Keightley. He then went to play in a Yorkshire cup final against Featherstone rovers. White was then in Leeds Wembley squads in 1977 and 1978. White then signed for York, where he played a big part in winning the 2nd division championship. He also won 2 caps for Yorkshire, with wins over Lancashire and Cambria. Then white signed a short contract for Halifax, which played in the championship-winning side—leaving Halifax white signed for Bradford northern after threeregular seasons. White then signed for Huddersfield RLFC and played in the successful 3rd division-winning side. White went on to play for new Hunslet and Keightley before returning to Illingworth, where it all started.
